Hand Dyed Yarn

Drowning Man - Hand dyed variegated yarn in burgundy purple, deep metal blue, and brown with brown speckles

  • Details
Drowning Man is a soulful country rock song from the 2018 album Desperate Man by my favorite artist Eric Church. It sings of the times and the mood of a working class living simple lives while keeping their heads down and drowning the world away in a bottle of whiskey. My interpretation on yarn came as a variegation of pooling colors in deep purple burgundy, brandished blue, and mahogany brown with speckles of olive brown.

Hand dyed using professional acid dyes. Due to the nature of this process, no two skeins are completely identical, though they are dyed together in small batches. Colors will vary between dye lots, so if using two or more skeins of one color in a project, it is recommended to work a few rows from each skein then switch.

Colors may also vary between viewing monitors and know that I do make every effort to accurately depict the true colors of the yarn in each and every listing photo.
